Hotel Campestre
The Hotel Campestre, built by Mr. W.T. Lum., is a popular destination in El Valle. The famous golden frogs can be seen in a large tank in front of the hotel, while an unmarked path leads up into the woods to a grove of square trees about five minute walk away as well as the Zamia Trail -- the Zamia is a living fossil of the Panamanian flora. There are also a great variety of orchids.
